We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to manage, maintain and
optimise our enterprise network infrastructure, production equipment connectivity
and IT systems.
The role is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, reliability and
performance of the company's network environment, including the integration and
ongoing support of digital production systems, ERP systems, file servers, business
applications, cloud services and other IT infrastructure.
The successful candidate will also administer and maintain connectivity across more
than a dozen computers and other networked devices, configure and manage user
access in accordance with company policies, and proactively monitor, maintain and
enhance the IT environment to support secure and efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organisation’s network infrastructure, including LAN,
WAN, wireless networks, internet connectivity and associated hardware and
software.
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network connections for production
equipment, including digital printers, cutters, laser cutting and engraving systems.
- Optimise connectivity between production equipment, design systems, servers,
storage platforms and business applications.
- Manage network security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, access controls and
security monitoring.
- Monitor network performance, availability and capacity, proactively identifying
and resolving infrastructure issues.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, cloud services, Windows-based systems, ERP
systems, file servers and associated IT infrastructure, including system
administration, upgrades, performance optimisation, backup, recovery and
security management.
- Maintain server and storage infrastructure, ensuring data security, availability and
integrity through effective backup, access control and antivirus protection.
- Support technology improvement projects, including system integration, network
expansion and infrastructure upgrades.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis and resolution of complex network
and system issues.
- Maintain IT documentation, network records and operational procedures.
- Support communication systems, including VoIP and business connectivity
solutions.
Selection Criteria
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in network administration, IT infrastructure
management or a similar technical role.
- Experience with industrial production equipment network integration or
manufacturing technology environments will be highly regarded.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server, cloud platforms, network
infrastructure, LAN/WAN environments and network security.
- Experience managing network hardware, servers, backups, virtualization and
system monitoring solutions.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and infrastructure
issues independently.
- Solid understanding of network optimization, security practices and continuous
improvement processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document technical solutions
and work independently.
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Stapylton QLD 4207: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- Diploma (Required)
Experience:
- network administration, IT infrastructure management: 3 years (Preferred)
