The role
We're looking for motivated Kitchen Assistants to join our central kitchen (which produces ingredients for our restaurants) and to support our kitchen teams.
Skills and experience
You’ll have:
- Experience working in industrial and/or restaurant kitchens
- Knife skills and experience
- A passion for food and kitchen operations
- Ability to lead, motivate, and build an efficient team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership ability, approachability, and a reputation as a role model
- Characteristics reflective of FISHBOWL’s ethos: self-motivated, positivity, service-oriented, flexible, and ethical with a high degree of integrity.
Your tasks
You will:
- Assst with ingredient preparation in the kitchen
- Use our state of the art processing machines
- Maintain adequate inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts
- Assistant with upholding critical standards of product quality, daily food safety and sanitation
- Role model and reinforce FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards
