Care to Care™ is seeking 2-3 qualified Support workers for independent living villages and a variety of community-based clients in the Coorparoo, Yeronga and Cannon Hill areas. Hours are versatile with emphasis on Monday to Friday hours.

You will need to hold a Certificate III or equivalent to be suitable for this position.

Job description:

Care to Care™ provides in-home assistance to Aged clients and Disabled clients (aged 15 to 99!), enabling them to live their lives independently in their own homes and develop their life skills.
Our services include Cleaning, Personal Care, Domestic Assistance, Transportation, In-Home Respite and Light Gardening.

We are looking for passionate Aged Care Support Workers to join our team to look after our clients in Coorparoo, Cannon Hill, Yeronga & all areas in-between! You will be assisting in caring for our clients in the community and our independent-living villages.

Your Main Responsibilities:

- Visit clients in their homes located around Coorparoo, Yeronga & Cannon Hill (travel required)
- Assist with Personal Care and Medication
- Provide assistance with basic living tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation and showering
- Support clients with social activities
- Assist clients with transportation to appointments, etc.

Key Requirements:

- Well presented, reliable and punctual
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current driver’s license (role will involve driving)
- Comprehensive car insurance
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent

Desirable or willing to obtain:

- Current National Police Check, First Aid & CPR certificates
- Blue and Yellow card/NDIS Workers screening check
- Assist clients with medication unit (HLTHPS006)
- COVID-19 Vaccination & Current Flu shot

Experience in the industry is highly regarded!

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $45.29 – $73.51 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Preferred)
- First Aid/CPR (Preferred)
- Driver's licence (Required)
