- Conduct patient consultations, examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Prescribe medications and formulate appropriate treatment and management plans
- Provide preventative healthcare service and health promotion advise to patients
- Order, review and interpret pathology tests, diagnostic investigations and medical imaging results
- Administer immunisations and vaccines in accordance with current clinical guidelines
- Provide womens health, men's health, and Aged Care services
- Assess, diagnose and manage common mental health conditions and provide appropriate support and referrals
- Refer patients to specialist medical practitioners and Allied health professionals where required and appropriate
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation
- Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in quality improvement, risk management and career development activities
