About the Tutor Position
We are experiencing high demand for home tutors across Taylors Lakes VIC and surrounding suburbs.
You will:
- Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions in students’ homes
- Provide tutoring support in literacy, numeracy, general subjects, or senior subjects depending on your strengths
- Build confidence and motivate students
- Maintain weekly tutoring sessions for consistency
- Travel locally within Taylors Lakes VIC and the surrounding suburbs
Hours & Availability
- 4–6+ hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–7:00pm
- Ideally able to commit for 8–12 months
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for learning and teaching
- Strong understanding of subject content
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a explicit and engaging manner
- High level of consistency and commitment
- Currently studying or previously studied at a university or TAFE
- Willing to travel to different client locations
- Must have or be willing to apply for an Employee Working with Children Check
