SEAMSTRESS SENIOR, Stafford (PART TIME/CASUAL) Bridal & Formal Store

Forever Bridal & Formal in Stafford (northside Brisbane) is seeking a Senior Seamstress (starting casual, then permanent part-time to full-time). Minimum 4 days per week (plus alternate Saturdays)

Forever is a locally owned boutique-style business retailing bridal and formal wear, semi-formal dresses, a range of accessories, and offering an in-house alteration service.

We pride ourselves on excellent, customized service, and we are looking for the right person to provide a one-stop alteration service that makes our customers' outfits look perfect and contributes to our team's success.

Forever’s in-store seamstress team member needs to be a highly experienced seamstress and, if needed, creative to help create and redesign dresses.

Forever offers a seamless, hassle-free experience by taking away the stress from our customers by providing an alterations service that handles the job on time, with care, experience, and creativity. We do not make any dresses from scratch, but are certainly very creative in restyling to suit our customers' needs.

Must have experience in Bridal and Formal-wear alterations including:
- Offering skilled fittings and quoting appointments in store
- Resizing & Customizing, redesign
- Reshaping Bodices
- Hemming – Lace, Chiffon, Rolled Edge
- Bustling, Beading
- Any other Wedding Dress or Formal Alterations





Additional Skills & Qualities:
- Must be well presented and able to communicate with customers, understand their needs, make recommendations to get the best fit/design in their dress choice
- Self-motivated and confident to manage in store alterations on time in a professional manner
- Creative, reliable and passionate about delivering quality service
- Previous bridal retail sales experience (not necessary; could lead to a full time position combining both seamstress and retail)
- Assist with presentation of showroom and sewing area to uphold an impeccable store.

Required minimum 4 days/week& alternate Saturdays
Store Days/Hours:
Tuesday – Friday 10.00am-5.00pm
Saturday 9.00am to 3.30pm Store is closed: Sunday, Monday, Public Holidays
