About the Position:





Our client is looking for a Senior Family Lawyer with 5+ years PAE to join our clients' team and manage a broad range of family law matters with autonomy, care and confidence.

You will work closely with clients across parenting matters, property settlements, financial agreements, divorce, separation issues, domestic and family violence matters, and complex negotiations. The role offers the chance to take ownership of files while still having the backing of an experienced specialist team around you.

This position is ideal for a Senior Lawyer who wants to keep progressing professionally without sacrificing flexibility, family time or personal wellbeing. With achievable billing expectations of 5.5 hours per day, practical working hours and regular performance conversations, our client has built a structure that supports both strong legal outcomes and sustainable long-term careers.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 5+ years PAE in family law within private practice
- Strong experience managing family law files from start to resolution
- Confident advising clients on parenting, property and separation matters
- Ability to provide clear, practical and empathetic legal advice
- Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills
- Sound judgement when dealing with sensitive and complex family issues
- A steady, professional and cooperative approach
- Genuine interest in building a long-term career within family law
