We are currently seeking a motivated and friendly Retail Assistant to join our team, working approximately 40 hours per week. Availability on weekends is essential.
Position Summary:
The Retail Assistant is the face of our store, responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for every customer. This role requires a strong work ethic, a friendly attitude, and a genuine interest in wholefoods and sustainable products.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system.
Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked store.
Assist with receiving and merchandising new stock.
Provide customers with information about our products, including their origin, ingredients, and health benefits.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with patience and professionalism.
Support the overall team to ensure smooth store operations.
Be knowledgeable about our range of organic and health food products.
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable.
A strong interest in wholefoods, organic products, and a healthy lifestyle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting boxes and standing for extended periods.
