We are looking for a caring, responsible and reliable After School Care Educator & Driver to join our team and support our Before & After School Care program.
This role will involve assisting with school pick-ups using your own vehicle and safely transporting children from local schools to our centre, followed by supporting children’s learning, play and wellbeing during our After School Care program.
About the role:
- Complete school pick-ups from local schools and safely transport children to our centre
- Use your own reliable vehicle for transportation
- Support children during After School Care hours through engaging activities and supervision
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Work collaboratively with the educator team to provide a safe and nurturing environment
- Training and guidance will be provided for the transport requirements and procedures
- Fuel expenses will be reimbursed/compensated
About you:
- Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
- Current childcare industry requirements, including,
Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, Child Protection and Safety training and All other required compliance certificates
- A current driver’s licence
- Own reliable vehicle suitable for transporting children
- Vehicle must be Registered, Roadworthy and safe, Appropriately insured (including suitable insurance requirements for transporting children).
- Responsible, punctual and confident driving children safely
- Passionate about supporting children’s wellbeing and learning
