The Role
We are currently seeking a Speech Therapist to support a young student. This is a rewarding role that involves working closely with the student, family, and school staff to build communication skills and support functional participation in the classroom and daily routines.

About the Role
In this role, you will:

- Provide speech therapy sessions within the school or home workplace
- Develop and implement individualised goals and therapy plans
- Use engaging, practical strategies tailored to the child’s interests and needs
- Collaborate with educators and family to ensure strategies are consistent across settings
- Monitor progress and adapt plans as needed




- Maintain clear and professional documentation

About You

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
- Confidently delivering therapy independently in a school setting
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
- A warm, flexible, and collaborative approach to care
- Experience working with children requiring extra support in communication is ideal

NDIS Compliance Requirements
You must hold or be willing to obtain:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (Queensland)
- National Police Check
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Location
Supporting a single school-aged participant within a local school or home.
