The Opportunity:

- Two Full-Time Fixed-Term Contract Opportunities – one until 31/12/2026 and one until 17/09/2027 (Maternity Leave Cover).
- PW7 $97,971 - $107,908 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
- Chadstone Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport.

The Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) supports Faculties and Institutes at Holmesglen through expert guidance in curriculum management, learning design and professional development. Within OTL, the Educational Resources and Support Unit leads the development and delivery of high-quality teaching and learning resources across digital and print formats, working collaboratively to create innovative and engaging learning experiences.

As our E-Learning and Instructional Designer, you will work closely with the Instructional Design Manager, subject matter experts and teaching teams to design accessible, compliant and multimedia-rich learning resources for online, blended and print delivery. Applying contemporary instructional design principles, including the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence tools, you will enhance digital learning platforms, support Senior Secondary, VET and Higher Education programs,



and contribute to continuous improvement and best practice in digital learning across the Institute.

As an E- Learning and Instructional Design officer you will:

- Design, write and review high-quality, compliant and accessible learning resources for online, digital and print delivery.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, project managers and teaching teams to develop engaging, learner-centred educational materials.
- Support staff and students in the effective use and administration of online learning platforms and the LMS.
- Contribute to project coordination, stakeholder engagement and the delivery of key milestones and outcomes.
- Develop and deliver professional development initiatives to strengthen digital capability and enhance teaching and learning practices.

To be successful, you’ll have:

- A tertiary qualification in adult education or a related field is required, with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) and/or qualifications in instructional design highly desirable.
- Solid instructional design experience across online, blended and print learning, with knowledge of assessment, compliance and diverse learner needs.
- Expertise in learning technologies, digital tools, and LMS platforms to create accessible, high-quality educational resources.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and service-focused skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage respectfully with colleagues and learners.
- Flexible, innovative and outcome-driven, with strong time management, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- WWCC and Police Check:



Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
