We are hiring for a Team Leader and Baristas at Lismore!!!

What being a Team Leader is all about:

- In charge of the store when the Store Manager is not present.
- Supervising both front and back of house operations.
- Lead a team to serve customers in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner, role modelling service superstardom!
- Involved in merchandising and stock rotation.
- Banking and Cash handing activities.
- Training team members in store processes and procedures.
- Maintaining a clean workspace in accordance with Food by WHSmith hygiene Standards.
- Reporting and communicating necessary information and feedback to the Cafe Manager regarding any and all aspects of store operations.
- Assist in the preparation of both food and beverages/coffees.
- Responsibility for food safety for both stores.

What being a Barista is all about:

- Preparing coffee orders in line with customer requests.
- Restocking supplies and ensuring the front-of-house is always well presented.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the café.
- Handling both cash and card payments efficiently.
- You may be required to help with other general duties in the cafe

What our Stores would love to see:

- Experience supervising in a food environment. (Team Leader only)
- Ability to lead and motivate a team whilst getting stuck in. (Team Leader only)
- Understanding of till reconciliation and cash handling. (Team Leader only)
- Knowledge in fast paced retail/cafe operations with a focus on quality service.
- Warm, friendly, and outgoing personality.
- Flexibility with work hours across a 7 day roster.
- Great communication skills.
- Exceptional time management and multitasking skills.
- The desire to build your career.
- Prior barista skills are key.




- Knowledge around food handling and safety (Food Safety Certificate is ideal but not essential).
- A passion for coffee!
