Hamlet Place is a Not for Profit Registered NDIS Provider supporting 2 participants in a Family-governed SIL home.
We work together with participants, family members, and directors to ensure those we support live a full, meaningful life.
We are looking for a Disability Support Worker willing and capable to step up and self manage with their team and together working alongside their colleagues. The home operates 24/7,
Key Responsibilities
- Overnight Sleepover Shifts
- Work closely with participants and families to ensure individual needs and goals are met.
- Monitor Compliance with NDIS guidelines, Policies, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance participant outcomes.
- Collaborate with all team members to ensure effective communication.
- Practice person-centred,
active support principles and support the team to deliver and document services and supports in line with our residents' plans, goals, preferences, and requirements.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone experienced in a SIL setting, Willing to actively engage with participants to achieve their physical goals. Activities will include Gym Swimming, Rugby, Golf, Drama, Music ect.
Who demonstrates person-centred practice methods, upholds participants' rights and enables quality compliance.
Who has a passion for empowering individuals and promoting independence for participants and co-workers.
Pay: $50.00 – $90.00 per hour
Application Question(s):
- Hamlet Place requires each Support Worker to undertake at least 1 sleepover shift each fortnight.
Experience:
- working with individuals with disabilities: 2 years (Required)
Licence/Certification:
- NDIS Worker Check Clearance? (Required)
- First Aid Certification (Required)
