Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and care-focused Professional Practice Lead to join our friendly and supportive pharmacy team at Ramsay Pharmacy, on a Maximum-Term, Full-Time basis. You have the flexibility to work from home or in the Ramsay Health Care Spring Hill office.
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Practice Lead, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Clinical, Quality and Development Team while providing exceptional service to pharmacists.
Key responsibilities include:
- Modelling exemplary pharmacy practice and providing best-practice advice to pharmacists on clinical, legal, ethical and other practice-based questions across multiple fields and states of practice.
- Supporting the implementation of 8th Community Pharmacy Agreement (8CPA) programs such as MedsChecks, Take Home Naloxone, Dose Administration Aids
- Assisting with the management of the immunisation program and the transition towards whole-of-life care
- Supporting the implementation of new pharmacy systems in conjunction with the Systems Support Team where required
- Supporting sites and the Operations Team with aged care services
- Supporting the implementation of new electronic audit systems across all of Ramsay Pharmacy
- The successful candidate will report to, and be supported by the Pharmacy Practice and Compliance Manager to grow into this expansive role.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or higher
- Current AHPRA general registration (without conditions or notations)
- Prior management experience in either hospital or community pharmacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Exemplary attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to locate accurate information quickly to support optimum pharmacy practice
