Great opportunity for a qualified LV Distribution Line worker based in or willing to relocate to Townsville area that is looking to be part of Ventia’s growing national Energy and Renewables team. Join us in powering Australia’s future!

Benefits

- Hourly wage of $70.27 plus super and penalties

- Various additional allowances as per EA
- Rostered day off

- Normal roster is a 9-Day fortnight
- 10:4 Roster for work away from home projects

About the role

- Undertake electrical linework for contracts with Energy QLD and other Energy Solution’s clients
- Installation, maintenance, testing, commissioning and final handover of power infrastructures
- Physical/manual labouring tasks including use of tools, small plant and equipment
- Operate and maintain assigned tools, plant and equipment associated with the job safely and effectively
- Assist the construction teams on jobs where multiple crews are allocated to ensure Safe and productive job outcomes
- Undertake other duties as reasonably required and directed

About you

- Current QLD Energy trade qualifications as a licenced Linesman - CERT III IN ESI DISTRIBUTION (Essential)




- Ability to work away from home as required
- Ability to participate in reasonable overtime in-line with business requirements
- HR Truck License
- Working at Heights
