Trainer & Assessor – CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
Australian Smart College is seeking an experienced and motivated Trainer & Assessor to deliver the CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating qualification.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Registered Training Organisation (RTO) committed to delivering high-quality vocational education and training.
Location
- Applicants must be based in New South Wales (NSW).
- Training will be delivered at our Sydney campus and practical workshop facilities, with occasional travel as required.
Position Details
- Deliver classroom, workshop, and practical training.
- Flexible weekday and occasional weekend classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess the CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating qualification in accordance with the relevant Training Package and the Standards for RTOs.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and supervise workshop activities in a safe learning environment.
- Assess students using a range of assessment methods and provide timely feedback.
- Support students in achieving their learning outcomes by identifying individual learning needs.
- Complete all required administrative tasks, including attendance records, assessment documentation, and student progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Smart College's policies, the VET Quality Framework,
and workplace health and safety requirements.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE40116, or an equivalent/higher qualification.
- Hold CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or a higher relevant qualification. Trainers and assessors must hold the qualification they deliver or be able to demonstrate equivalent vocational competency.
- Demonstrated current industry skills and experience as a qualified Painter and Decorator.
- Previous experience delivering training and assessment within the VET sector is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, decorative finishes, spray painting, and workplace safety.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Competent computer skills for maintaining student records and using online learning systems.
