About the role

Tetris Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter/pipe welder to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. As a Pipe/Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the installation of industrial piping systems. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within our dynamic organisation with plenty of overtime available.

What you'll be doing

- Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and specifications to plan and execute pipe fitting tasks
- Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes and related materials to industry standards
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks to join pipes and fittings, following appropriate safety protocols
- Trade qualification in pipe fitting and or plumbing is required for this position
- Inspect and test completed pipe systems to ensure proper function and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation or maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety procedures

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter/Welder, preferably in the Trades & Services industry
- Minimum of 3-5 years of pipe fitting experience is required
- Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, welding, and industry best practices




- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to tackle complex challenges
- Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Australian work rights are required for this position
