Ringwood based Company is seeking an Industrial Sewing Machinists

Full time, long-term position

Experience preferred working with heavy fabrics, but not essential.

We are passionate about producing exceptional quality products, therefore the quality of your work and attention to detail is crucial to your long-term success. You will be working in a team environment; therefore, you must be team orientated and must be able to follow instructions. You will be working alongside experienced Sewing Machinists who will provide the training required.

Desirable skills:

· Experience using an industrial sewing machine, including Canvas, Vinyl and Mesh an advantage but not essential.

· Able to use tape measure and small tools safely and accurately.

· Preparing product for manufacture.





· Operating various types of cutting equipment

· Experience in a manufacturing environment and with manufacturing processes an advantage.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Able to follow work procedures.

· Performing quality checks.

· Attention to detail and produce high quality work.

· Desire to gain a long-term opportunity.

· Clear and accurate communication skills.

· Working within a team environment.

· Knowledge of Safety, Continuous Improvement Practices and WHS principles.

· Current Police Check and WWCC

· Strong work ethic, Reliable, punctual and the ability to work unsupervised

· Have the right attitude and commitment and be enthusiastic to learn new processes
