We have full-time opportunity available within our vibrant and collaborative Wagga Wagga Team.
In this role you'll:
The Works Assistant Grade 3 - PQR will be responsible for:
Coordinating and maintaining project quality, safety and environmental documentation, ensuring records are accurate, complete and compliant with Transport requirements and project specifications.
Monitoring inspections, audits and compliance activities, reviewing project records and quality documentation, and following up outstanding actions to support successful project delivery.
Managing project documentation and electronic records across systems including iAuditor, Asset Vision, Objective and other project management platforms.
Supporting routine maintenance and project works by preparing work packs, permits, plans, traffic guidance schemes, hired plant documentation and other project requirements to ensure works are site-ready.
Conducting quality checks, reviewing inspection outcomes and monitoring project conformance against engineering plans, specifications and established procedures.
Collaborating with field crews, contractors,
supervisors and project engineers to identify and resolve routine issues, manage risks and achieve project objectives.
Contributing to a safe and productive work setting by supporting WHS, environmental and quality requirements, participating in audits and promoting continuous improvement across the team.
Working across a diverse range of infrastructure and maintenance projects, including bridge maintenance activities, with the prospect to take ownership of your work and develop broad project delivery experience

About you
You have experience in civil construction, road maintenance, infrastructure delivery or a similar environment and understand the importance of quality assurance, compliance and safe work practices in delivering successful project outcomes
You are highly organised and enjoy working with project documentation, records and systems, ensuring information is accurate, complete and readily available to support project delivery and compliance requirements
You hold a current Construction Industry White Card and an unrestricted NSW Driver Licence.
You have strong attention to detail and can confidently review forms, inspection records and project documentation to ensure work is completed in line with specifications, standards and established procedures.
You are a team-oriented team player with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with field teams, supervisors, engineers and contractors.
You are equally comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment
You are confident using technology and can quickly learn and work across a range of systems and applications. Experience with quality management, auditing, document control or project management systems will be highly regarded.
Forklift or Telehandler tickets and PWZTMP training are desirable but not essential
You must also have a willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing or ticketing requirements as directed, and may be required to travel throughout the region to support project and maintenance activities.
This role is based in Wagga Wagga and you will be required to live within 100km of the depot.
