About the role

Nufeeds Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to join our Production, Planning & Scheduling team. This is a full-time position based at our facility in Welshpool, Western Australia. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accurate and efficient production of our feed products, managing both batch control systems and weighbridge operations. You will be responsible for maintaining product quality, accuracy in measurements, and compliance with all production scheduling requirements. This position is essential to our manufacturing operations and directly impacts the timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key responsibilities

- Manage weighbridge operations, recording and verifying weights of incoming and outgoing materials and finished products

- Operate and monitor batch control systems to ensure accurate formulation and mixing of feed products according to specifications. Training to be provided

- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all batches processed, including batch tickets, weight confirmations and production logs

- Conduct regular inspections of scales and weighing equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly and remain within calibration standards

- Communicate effectively with production team members to coordinate material flow and scheduling throughout the production process





- Identify and report any discrepancies or quality issues to supervisors and support corrective actions

- Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations relevant to batch processing and weighbridge operations

- Assist in the implementation of production schedules and adjust operations as required to meet delivery deadlines

- Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all safety protocols and best practices

What we're looking for

- Some experience as a Weighbridge Operator or in a similar production control role within a manufacturing environment

- Some knowledge of batch processing systems, weighing equipment and quality control procedures

- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately record and verify measurements and data

Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements in manufacturing

- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with production teams

- Strong communication skills and the capacity to follow written and verbal instructions precisely

- A commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety
