Omega Auto & Smash Repair, Coopers Plains is seeking an experienced and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our growing team in a permanent full time position.

- Available to work Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturday mornings
- Learn and grow through hands-on training with management.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

- Take charge of servicing, repairing and maintaining both new and used vehicles.
- Remove, inspect, repair and refit engine, transmission, steering, suspension and other mechanical components where required.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using suitable testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out scheduled, logbook,



major and minor servicing in line with manufacturer requirements.
- Inspect vehicle components, identify worn or damaged parts, and repair or replace them where necessary.
- Test and adjust repaired components to ensure vehicles operate safely and correctly.
- Deliver top-notch workmanship on every vehicle.
- Follow the correct procedures and standards when performing warranty work.
- Use workshop manuals, technical information and scan tools to assist with fault diagnosis and repairs.
- Keep workshop tools, hoists and equipment in safe working condition.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including job cards and detailed records of servicing and repairs carried out.
- Handle oils, fluids and workshop materials in accordance with safety and environmental procedures.
- Always adhere to workplace health and safety policies.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
