About the role
In your current role of a distribution weighbridge clerk, you will support the team in:
- Operate the weighbridge system to accurately weigh and record incoming and outgoing goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure seamless processing of products.
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the weighbridge equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Record and maintain accurate data related to product weights and quantities.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers and warehouse staff to facilitate a smooth flow of goods.
About you
As a Distribution Weighbridge Clerk you will be ensuring the trucks are being accurately weigh and record incoming and outgoing goods using the weighbridge system. In addition, you will bring:
- Previous experience as a weighbridge operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with drivers and internal teams.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and system operations.
