Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair roof plumbing systems including gutters, downpipes, and flashings
- Perform full re‑roofing works (Metal & Tile Roof), including removal of existing roof materials and installation of current compliant systems.
- Install insulation, sarking, and waterproofing membranes.
- Diagnose and report repair roof leaks, damaged sheets, flashings, gutters, and penetrations.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure roof longevity and compliance.
- Ensure correct fall, alignment, and water flow in accordance with AS/NZS 3500.
- Fit and seal roof penetrations, vents, skylights,



and pipe flashings.
- Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications for roofing and waterproofing systems
- Fabricate and install roof flashings and metal roofing components
- Test and ensure proper functioning of drainage systems
- Perform removal and installation of rooftop mechanical services where required
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all work complies with Australian building codes, standards, and WHS requirements

Skills and Experience

- Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Roof Plumbing or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience in installation and repair of roof plumbing systems including gutters, flashings, and downpipes
- Strong understanding of roofing, waterproofing, and building construction
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
