Summary

Our client, Redbourne Business Services, established in 2000, is seeking to add a Multimedia Designer to its Chermside team. The successful candidate will create engaging digital and visual content supporting the company’s branding, communications and innovative technology solutions for businesses and community organisations.

The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and internal teams to clarify project goals, target audience needs, and brand requirements before starting any multimedia work.

- Perform detailed research into audience behaviour, market trends, competitor campaigns, and product features to shape effective creative strategies.

- Develop original concepts and storylines for promotional videos, instructional content, product explainers, and digital marketing assets that combine animation, video, graphics, text, and sound.

- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed UI layouts in Figma to visualise how software features and marketing messages would be presented in dynamic digital formats.

- Design and produce motion graphics, animated logos, explainer videos, promotional videos, and interactive elements using After Effects, Canva, and other tools, turning static designs into engaging multimedia deliverables.

- Lead the full production process for digital content, including scripting, screen recording, animation, voice-over integration, editing, and final assembly for use across social media, email campaigns, websites, and conference displays.





- Design and animate user interface sequences specifically for instructional and promotional purposes (eg., feature walkthroughs and product launch videos), ensuring smooth hand-over to development teams where required.

- Select and optimise the right combination of media formats, file sizes, and technical specifications to guarantee high performance and compatibility across devices, email clients, and online platforms.

- Work with marketing and development teams throughout projects to review progress, incorporate feedback, and deliver polished multimedia assets that met both creative and technical standards.

- Manage the organisation, testing, and long-term archiving of all project files, assets, and final deliverables for future reference and client reuse.

- A relevant Bachelor’s Degree

- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

- Strong visual communication and creative thinking skills.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Canva, Photoshop, and Illustrator

- Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of aesthetics and layout.

- Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Good collaboration skills and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

- Strong time management and organisational skills.

- Adaptability to new tools and technologies, including AI-assisted design tools.

- Commitment to brand consistency and high design standards.

- Willingness to receive feedback and make improvements to designs.

- Skilled attitude and commitment to delivering quality work aligned with company goals.
