Assistant Manager – Bull & Bush Hotel

The Bull & Bush Hotel is looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role, supporting the day-to-day operations of both our hotel bar and bottle shop while helping deliver outstanding customer service.

About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Venue Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the team, and ensure a welcoming, safe, and productive environment for both staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in managing the daily operations of the bar and bottle shop.
- Lead, motivate, and support staff during shifts.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Handle cash, POS operations, and end-of-day procedures.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with RSA, licensing, and venue policies.
- Help train and develop new team members.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and service.

About You





- Previous hospitality management or supervisory experience is essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience working in a busy bar, hotel, or bottle shop environment.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work under pressure.
- Current RSA/RCG/ARCG certificate (required).
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
