About Us

Our client is a well established Asian food wholesaler supplying a wide range of Japanese, Chinese, Korean and other Asian food products to restaurants across Sydney. With a strong reputation and expanding customer base, they are now seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join their team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of restaurant clients while driving new business opportunities. This role includes regular client visits, relationship building, analysing sales trends, and coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth end to end customer experience. Responsibilities

- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the foodservice and retail sectors to expand the customer base.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers. Promote, present, and sell the company's range of Asian food products to achieve business growth.
- Manage customer orders, maintain account records, and coordinate timely and accurate product deliveries.
- Achieve sales objectives and provide regular sales updates, market feedback, and performance reports to management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, exhibitions,



and customer meetings as required.
- Stay informed on company products, competitor offerings, market trends, and industry developments to identify sales opportunities.
- Conduct regular visits to customer sites, retail outlets, and prospective accounts to strengthen relationships and generate sales.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and credit terms, process orders, and arrange delivery schedules. Support customers through exceptional service and respond promptly to enquiries and business needs.
- Assist with product deliveries and provide on-site sales support when required.
Carry out additional sales, customer service, and administrative duties as directed by management.

Your Profile

- Fluent in English plus proficiency in one of the following languages: Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean. 1–2 years of experience in B2B/B2C or corporate sales (food industry experience is a plus).
- Strong client relationship and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse sales & customer data and generate insights.
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, IF functions, etc.).
- Flexible, proactive, and willing to support day to day operational needs.
- Experience working with warehouse or delivery teams is advantageous.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or hold Permanent Residency.
- Must possess a current Australian driver's licence.

Work Conditions & Benefits

- Company vehicle provided (all expenses paid).
- Occasional regional travel may be required.
- Some lifting (5–20kg) may be needed as part of operational support.
