As demand for our recruitment services continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

About the Role

This is a part-time position (10–12 hours per week), initially offered on a 3-month contract, with the prospect to become permanent as the business continues to grow.

The role has been created to provide additional support while one of our Senior Education Recruitment Consultants returns from maternity leave on a part-time basis. Initially, you will work alongside our senior recruitment team, helping to manage a growing portfolio of education vacancies while progressively taking ownership of your own recruitment assignments.

This is a flexible, home-based role that can work around school hours, making it ideal for someone looking for genuine work-life balance while continuing to build their recruitment career.

The hours can be worked across 2 or 3 days per week and will be agreed with the successful applicant. Due to the needs of the business, you must be available for at least four hours between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. The remaining hours can be worked flexibly.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage recruitment assignments from vacancy briefing through to successful placement.
- Source, screen and interview teachers, school leaders and education professionals.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future vacancies.
- Advertise vacancies and proactively source passive candidates.
- Build strong relationships with candidates and school clients.
- Deliver an outstanding recruitment experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate communications.
- Contribute to business development and identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships.

About You

You will ideally have:

- Previous recruitment experience, either agency or internal.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.





Experience recruiting within the education sector is highly regarded but not essential.

Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys building relationships, achieving great outcomes for clients and candidates, and wants to grow your career within a supportive and expanding business.

Salary & Benefits

- Equivalent of $80,000–$90,000 FTE, plus superannuation.
- 8% commission on placement fees.
