Team Leader Nursery Room

We are looking for a warm, nurturing and experienced Team Leader to lead our small nursery room. This role would suit someone who genuinely loves working with babies and understands the importance of creating a calm, secure and caring environment where every child feels safe, valued and supported.

We are hoping to find someone who is not only organised and confident in their role, but also a kind and supportive leader for the educators in the room. You will help guide the team, encourage open communication and create a positive environment where everyone feels respected and works well together.

Previous experience in a nursery room or leadership position is important, along with a robust understanding of routines, programming, documentation and building meaningful relationships with children and families.

Above all, we are looking for someone who will care for the room as if it were their own, lead with patience and kindness, and take pride in creating a beautiful and nurturing space for both the children and the educators.

About the Role

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will:

- Lead and support a team of educators while overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the Nursery Room
- Create engaging and meaningful learning experiences for children




- Support children’s development through play-based learning
- Build strong and respectful relationships with families and colleagues
- Contribute to a positive team culture and learning environment
- Help maintain a safe, inspiring, and nurturing space for children
- Work alongside a supportive leadership team that values your ideas and input

What We’re Looking For

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently studying)
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, initiative, and a positive attitude
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $37.00 – $42.00 per hour
