Community Support Worker / Caregiver

Location: Perth Metro Area (North, South, East & West)

Position Type: Casual (Flexible shifts)

Are you a passionate, reliable caregiver dedicated to making a real difference in people’s lives? We are seeking compassionate Community Caregivers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to our clients, helping them live independently and comfortably in their own homes across the Perth metropolitan area.

About the Role

In this rewarding role, you will deliver holistic home care tailored to each client's individual needs. Your daily duties will include:

Personal Care & Daily Living: Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility.

Domestic Assistance: Supporting clients with light household tasks, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe living workplace.

Community Access: Accompanying clients to appointments, social outings, shopping, and community events.

Palliative Care: Providing compassionate, sensitive end-of-life care and support to clients and their families.

What You Bring (Essential Requirements)

Qualifications: Certificate III (or above) in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Care.

NDIS Clearance: Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).

First Aid & CPR: Current First Aid Certificate and CPR re-certification.

Transport:



Valid WA Driver’s License and a reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia.

Desirable Skills & Certifications (Highly Regarded)

Current Manual Handling certification.

Medication Competency certificate.

Dysphagia Training (dysphagia management / safe swallowing support).
