Edworks is one of Melbourne's established tutoring organisations, supporting students since 1990. With centres across Armadale, Brighton, Doncaster and Mount Waverley.

About the Role

We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable tutors to join our growing academic team.

Successful applicants will teach students in one or more of the following subjects:

- Mathematics
- English
- Science

You will be responsible for:

- Delivering engaging and structured lessons to students from Years 7–12.
- Explaining concepts clearly and adapting lessons to suit individual learning needs.
- Identifying learning gaps and implementing strategies to improve student performance.
- Supporting students with school curriculum, assessments and examination preparation.
- Providing constructive feedback to students and parents on academic progress.
- Recording lesson notes and maintaining accurate student records.
- Working collaboratively with our academic team to ensure high-quality educational outcomes.
- Maintaining a professional, supportive and positive learning setting.





Availability Required

- Weekdays: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Saturdays: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Regular availability during school terms is highly desirable.

Who We're Looking For

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

- Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (Provisional or Full Registration).
- Have excellent knowledge of Mathematics, English or Science.
- Have experience teaching or tutoring secondary school students.
- Be confident teaching Years 7–10 and preferably VCE.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be organised, reliable and professional.
- Enjoy working with young people and helping them achieve their academic goals.
- Be committed to maintaining high teaching standards.

Experience in tutoring, classroom teaching or educational support is highly regarded.

Pay: $36.00 – $60.00 per hour
