We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Home Cook/Chef to prepare fresh, nutritious and high-quality meals for a private household in Adelaide.

Working four days per week, this is a unique opportunity for a professional cook who enjoys creating healthy, wholesome and varied food in a more personal environment, without the pressures of a commercial kitchen.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Planning and preparing fresh, healthy and balanced meals
- Developing varied weekly menus based on household preferences
- Accommodating dietary requirements and special requests
- Purchasing high-quality ingredients and managing kitchen supplies
- Preparing meals in advance for non-working days where required
- Maintaining excellent food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organisation
- Minimising food waste and managing ingredients efficiently
- Occasionally preparing meals for family gatherings or guests

About You

You will be:

- An experienced chef, ideally with private household, catering or quality restaurant experience
- Passionate about fresh,



nutritious and flavoursome food
- Confident preparing a broad range of cuisines
- Highly organised, reliable and able to work independently
- Discreet, professional and respectful of privacy
- Flexible and responsive to changing household requirements
- Knowledgeable about dietary needs, allergens and food safety

A relevant culinary qualification, current driver’s licence and valid police clearance will be highly regarded.
