Our team operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where every member plays a vital role in bringing dream homes to life.About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join the Baaz Luxury Homes team in the Blacktown area. Managing the financial heartbeat of our construction projects, you will oversee day-to-day accounting, monitor project costs, and ensure smooth cash flow. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional looking to grow within the residential construction industry.Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end project accounting, including job costing and variance analysis.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Process accounts payable, subcontractor claims, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS)



and monthly IAS.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and complete bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and assist management with budget forecasting.
- Coordinate with project managers to track construction spend against budgets.

Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA / CPA qualification (completed or currently progressing) is highly regarded.
- Previous experience in construction, property development, or building industries is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and construction management software is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors, and site staff.
