We operate the Yalata Community Store, Roadhouse, and Caravan Park, nestled in the stunning Far West Coast of South Australia on the eastern edge of the Nullarbor Plain. Our mission goes beyond retail; we're a lifeline to our remote Aboriginal Community, providing groceries, essential services, employment opportunities, and supporting national and international travellers visiting the region.

Available Positions

Hospitality Supervisor
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 + super

- Supervision of daily operations across the Roadhouse, Community Store and Caravan Park
- Front-of-house service, point of sale and customer engagement
- Staff rostering support and daily task coordination
- Stock control, ordering and inventory oversight
- Assisting with food preparation and service
- Supporting accommodation bookings and site standards

Hospitality Worker
Salary: $65,000–$70,000 + super

- Customer service across retail, food and accommodation
- Point of sale and cash handling
- Food preparation, cleaning and general hospitality duties
- Stock handling and store presentation
- Assisting with accommodation cleaning and guest services




- Supporting operations across all sites as required

Cook / Chef
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 + super

- Preparing and cooking meals for the Roadhouse
- Maintaining food safety and kitchen standards
- Kitchen stock control and ordering support
- Assisting with front-of-house service when required
- Supporting customer service and point of sale as needed
- General support across the Roadhouse and Community Store

Requirements: All Yalata Lands, including inside accommodation, are dry zones, and the possession and consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited. As our stores provide services to 'at-risk and vulnerable people,' candidates will be required to complete a 'National Police Check' and a 'Department of Human Services Clearance,' or have the ability to obtain them upon job offer presentation.
