Post Office Hotel – Tamworth NSW

Salary: $79423

The Post Office Hotel is a tavern-style hotel located in the heart of Tamworth CBD,

Northwestern NSW. We provide lunch and dinner dining options and short-order meals

outside dining hours in a busy hospitality environment.

We are currently seeking a qualified Chef to join our kitchen team and work alongside the

Head Chef.

Position Details:

 Full-time position (Minimum 38 Hours per week)

 Salary: $79423 plus superannuation

 Location: Tamworth NSW

Key Responsibilities:

 Preparing and cooking a range of meals to a high standard

 Assisting with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations

 Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

 Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering





 Working efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen environment

Skills and Experience Required:

 Relevant trade qualification (AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma

or equivalent) or minimum 3 years relevant experience may substitute formal

qualification.

 Minimum 1 year’s experience if holding a relevant qualification.

 Functional English

 Ability to work in a consistently busy kitchen

 Strong communication and teamwork skills

 Knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures

 Ability to display a full range of cooking skills
