Mitchell Engineering Food Equipment (MEFE) is an Australian family-owned business supplying specialised equipment and consumables to the meat and food processing industry.

For over 15 years we've built our reputation on expert advice, quality products and exceptional customer service. From small butcher shops through to some of Australia's largest food processors, our customers rely on us to provide practical solutions and responsive support.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Customer Support & Sales Coordinator to become a key member of our team.

About the Role

This is a varied, customer-focused role where no two days are the same.

You'll be one of the first points of contact for our customers, helping them find the right products, preparing quotations, coordinating orders and ensuring every customer receives outstanding service from enquiry through to delivery.

While previous industry experience is advantageous, we'll provide product training. We're looking for someone with strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities.

What You'll Be Doing

- Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
- Preparing quotations and processing customer orders
- Providing basic product advice and identifying customer needs
- Coordinating freight and tracking deliveries
- Managing customer returns, warranty claims and general enquiries
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Preparing basic product costing and updating pricing information
- Maintaining accurate customer and product records
- Supporting continuous improvements to our customer service and internal processes

About You





You'll be someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems and taking ownership of your work.

Ideally you'll have:

- Experience in customer service, internal sales or sales support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn technical products
- Confidence working independently while also contributing to a close-knit team

Experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, wholesale or technical products would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
