About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Farm Manager to join our team at Precision Poultry Pty Ltd' in Boort, Victoria and Tabbita, NSW (VOAG). As the Farm Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our farm, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, productivity, and sustainability. This is a full-time position based in office at our Boort location.

What you'll be doing

- Manage all aspects of poultry farm operations, including feeding, watering, housing, and health monitoring
- Implement and oversee biosecurity protocols to maintain the highest standards of biosecurity and animal welfare
- Supervise and coordinate the work of the farm team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Monitor and maintain equipment, facilities, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Analyse production data and make informed decisions to improve productivity, quality, and profitability
- Ensure compliance with all relevant agricultural, environmental,



and workplace health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the wider Precision Poultry team to contribute to the company's strategic goals and initiatives

What we're looking for

- Bachelor Degree or equivalent, or at least 5 years related & relevant experience
- Thorough understanding of poultry husbandry, including nutrition, health, and welfare requirements
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and adapt to changing conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, and safety

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
