About the Role

As an Advisor, Credit Strategy Oversight in Group Risk – Business & Private Bank, you’ll play a key role in helping to:

Support the Strategy Oversight team by contributing to governance and risk reporting activities to strengthen credit quality and decision making
Contribute to maintaining effective oversight and compliance with risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Work Hours: Full time What could your day look like?

Supporting execution of credit governance processes including monitoring, reporting, and control activities

Assisting in governance, audit, and compliance activities including issue tracking and escalation support

Preparing analysis and reporting to support risk oversight and decision making

Ensuring adherence to policies and support continuous improvement initiatives.




What will you bring?

‘Must have’ knowledge, skills and experiences

Sound stakeholder communication and ability to support risk discussions derived from data analysis and creation of clear insights

Experience in risk management or governance environments

Strong analytical and reporting capability and solid understanding of Policy

Ability to manage priorities and deliver quality outcomes

Is an advocate of change and leads with clarity and conviction, all the while fostering a positive, open mindset and helping their team adapt confidently to evolving business and risk environments.

‘Good to have’ knowledge, skills and experiences

Basic understanding of group credit principles and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Banking, Finance, Accounting or Economics (desirable)
