Position Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance with taxation and accounting standards, and supporting the business with financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger transactions.
- Prepare and lodge BAS, GST, PAYG, and other statutory obligations.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.




- Prepare financial forecasts and assist with budgeting and business planning.
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and taxation legislation.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, financial institutions, and government agencies.
- Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to improve business performance and profitability.
- Maintain internal financial controls and accounting procedures.

Skills and Experience Required

- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience as an Accountant.
- Sound knowledge of Australian accounting principles and taxation requirements.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Solid analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
