Perth Recruitment Services is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable General Hand / Gardener to join a Local Government Parks & Gardens team. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining parks, reserves and public spaces, we'd love to hear from you.

- 38-hour week with weekly pay
- Rostered Day Off (RDO) every second week
- Monday to Friday work – enjoy your weekends

- Work approximately 20–30 minutes from the Perth CBD
- Supportive Local Government work environment
Your Duties
- General parks and gardens maintenance
- Weeding, planting, mulching and pruning
- Lawn mowing, whipper snipping and edging
- Operating brush cutters, lawn mowers and other landscape maintenance equipment
- General labouring duties as required
- Assisting to maintain parks,
reserves and public open spaces to a high standard
Essential Requirements
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Current Manual C Class Driver's Licence
- WA White Card (Construction Safety Awareness)
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (if required for the position)
Highly Regarded
- Experience in parks and gardens, horticulture, landscaping or grounds maintenance
- Commercial mowing experience, including out-front mowers
- Experience operating gardening and landscaping power tools
- Chainsaw experience (advantageous)
