Job Description

Role Specific:

Our client are chasing a couple of site engineers for upcoming projects in Toowoomba. Specifically, one is an installation of a new trunk water main and sewer main for Council, and another is a subdivision. Ideal applicants will have strong understanding of the construction processes for these projects (multiple similar previous projects), great open communication (with subcontractors, managers and employees alike), and cost and quality tracking experience is also a must.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day‐to‐day engineering support on civil construction projects
- Assist with construction planning, sequencing and programming
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers in conjunction with site supervision
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards
- Manage and maintain site documentation, including ITPs, permits and records
- Support cost control, progress tracking and reporting
- Assist with survey coordination, set‐out and verification of works




- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and project requirements
- Identify and proactively resolve on‐site issues

The Successful Applicant

About You

You'll be a motivated and capable civil engineer with strong site experience and a practical approach to project delivery.

You will bring:

- Qualification in Civil Engineering
- 5 + years demonstrated experience working as a Site Engineer on civil construction projects
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Sound knowledge of WHS and site compliance requirements
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with site teams and stakeholders
- Valid driver's licence
- White Card (required)
