About the role

Working collaboratively with the team, the planner role requires a motivated individual with planning experience, policy development, experience in project delivery, stakeholder engagement and critical thinking. The planner role requires an outcome‑focused professional who brings an understanding of the planning system, sound judgment, and written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications and experience

- A relevant qualification in Planning or a related field (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of the Victoria Planning Provisions and the Planning and Environment Act 1987, with statutory or strategic planning experience across government or consulting (mandatory).
- Understanding of government policy, particularly transport and land use, and knowledge of processes for progressing budgets, plans, policy, regulation and legislation (mandatory).

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
