Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor a team of character artists and animators, fostering skilled growth and creative excellence.

- Creative Collaboration: Partner with the Art Director, Associate Character Lead, and Game Designers to establish and maintain a cohesive visual style.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure all character models and animations align with the artistic vision and meet AAA quality standards.

- Pipeline Management: Oversee production schedules and resource allocation to ensure all project milestones are met on time.

- Technical Integration: Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure seamless integration of assets into the game engine.

- Innovation: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies to refine and innovate artistic processes.

Your Mission at Gameloft

As a Lead Animation Artist , you will be a pillar of the Gameloft creative pipeline, bridging the gap between artistic vision and technical execution.

- Mentorship:



Lead and inspire a team of Gameloft character artists and animators, providing the guidance necessary for their growth and development.

- Artistic Vision: Collaborate with the Art Director and Game Designers to establish and defend the visual style of the project.

- Production Oversight: Manage animation production schedules and allocate resources to ensure project milestones are hit with High -level quality.

- Cross-Disciplinary Synergy: Work alongside programmers and designers to ensure seamless asset integration into the game engine.

The Candidate Profile

- Proven Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading art teams and delivering high-quality projects.

- Technical Expertise: Mastery of Unreal Engine and Maya , with a deep understanding of animation pipelines.

- Artistic Depth: Expert knowledge of character design, anatomy, facial expressions, and the principles of timing and weight.

- Modeling Skills: Proficiency in high-poly and low-poly modeling and modern texturing workflows.
