Construction & Maintenance Labourers - Brisbane Southside (Logan & Surrounds)

Join a large and well-established local government organisation delivering a wide range of infrastructure, maintenance, and civil construction projects across one of South East Queensland's fastest-growing regions.

Your new role

Our client has multiple opportunities within their organisation, from landscaping to general labouring, civil labouring, machine operating and much, much more!

- Operate MR/HR trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from sites.

- Operate machinery such as rollers to carry out compaction works on roads, subdivisions, and infrastructure projects.

- Operate Excavators to dig, move and load earth, rock & rubble on construction sites

- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks on vehicles and plant.

- Maintain parks & gardens in public spaces, using mowers, whipper snippets and landscaping tools.

- Work alongside site supervisors and crews to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

What you'll need to succeed

- Construction White Card (Required for all roles within this organisation)
- HR/MR Truck Licence (Essential for some roles, but not all)
- Roller, Dozer,



Excavator Tickets (Essential for some roles, but not all)
- Additional civil tickets and plant operating experience are highly regarded!
- Previous experience in civil construction or labouring or landscaping
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, and to work in a team environment
- Willingness to commit to an ongoing temporary assignment
