About the Role

Synergie Australia are seeking an experienced Process Manager to join a client/'s gold mining operation in the Northern Territory. This is a senior role responsible for managing, optimising, and improving operational processes across the mining operation, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the mining industry and a strong focus on operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and optimise operational processes within the mining operation, including extraction, processing, and plant operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve throughput and productivity.




- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure consistent process execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across the operation.
- Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Ensure all processes comply with relevant occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management on operational performance and improvement opportunities.

Key Requirements

- Proven experience in process management or operations within the mining sector, preferably in gold mining.
- Strong understanding of mineral processing workflows, mining operations, and process optimisation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiency programs.
- Knowledge of Northern Territory mining regulations, OH&S; standards, and environmental compliance.
- Relevant qualifications in mining engineering, process engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
