Skillforce Recruitment is seeking experienced, trade-qualified Carpenters for ongoing work with a growing Perth-based carpentry contractor.

With a strong pipeline of secured projects across the Perth metropolitan area, our client requires reliable Carpenters who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. The work is varied and includes residential construction, commercial projects, renovations, structural framing, cladding, fit-outs and maintenance.

This is an excellent prospect for qualified Carpenters looking for consistent hours, varied project experience and the potential to progress into Leading Hand positions.

About the Role

Depending on your experience and the project requirements, your duties may include:

- Timber and steel frame construction
- Structural wall framing
- Roof framing and general roof carpentry
- Truss and rafter installation
- First and second fix carpentry




- Door, frame, skirting and hardware installation
- Fibre cement and architectural cladding
- Commercial fit-outs and refurbishment works
- Residential renovations and extensions
- Multi-storey apartment fit-outs
- General maintenance and rectification works
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a site team
- Assisting with the supervision of small crews where required

Experience with steel framing will be highly regarded.

About You

To be considered, you will require:

- Certificate III in Carpentry or recognised equivalent
- Previous experience working as a qualified Carpenter
- Construction White Card
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Own carpentry tools
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and a robust work ethic
- High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening where required

Highly Regarded

- Steel framing experience
- Working at Heights ticket
- EWP ticket
- Skid Steer Loader ticket
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Experience supervising or leading small crews
- Experience across both residential and commercial projects
