Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting the OTC Derivatives Transactional Reporting
- Day-to-day management of:
- Daily trade/life-cycle / valuation reporting, dispute resolution, and query management
- Trade feed exceptions
- Month end reporting
- Ad-hoc requests and projects including regulatory change, requirements gathering and engagement with vendors for system upgrades and implementation.
- Assisting in developing and, documenting, a framework and operating model required to support Transactional Reporting across systems, processes, procedures, and controls.
- Develop key metrics and reporting, regarding all aspects of trade reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulatory requirements, and operating rules.
- Monitor Depository Trade Reporting KPI’s, action logs and SLA’s.
- Monitor and resolve exceptions of reconciliations
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with internal partners, clients, brokers and other external third parties.
Domain & Technical Skills
- Knowledge of the OTC products (Fixed income, equities, foreign exchange)
- Previous Trade Reporting experience in the financial Services Industry.
- Knowledge of Depository Trade Reporting requirements for Australian regulator ASIC (knowledge of other global regulator’s requirements highly regarded (Preferably CFTC)
- Previous systems experience with DTCC, Markitwire, SwapsOne and Broadridge Transaction Reporting Solution.
- Knowledge of exception management and breaks resolution as it relates to Intersystem Reconciliations.
- Proven ability to contribute toward the delivery of complex programs of work (including regulatory change, current business, and product implementations) from an operational perspective
- Understanding of the financial services regulatory environment and an ability to identify inherent risks in the operational aspects of the business and provide solutions
