About our company:

Bottega-B Ristorante is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team in Bundanoon, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals, maintaining consistent presentation standards, and supporting the effective operation of the kitchen.

Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation (depending upon experience & skills)

Role: Full time

Location: Bundanoon NSW 2578

Main responsibilities

·Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with the restaurant’s recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.

·Complete daily food preparation, including cutting ingredients, preparing sauces, marinating food and organising cooking stations.

·Cook meals to order during service while maintaining quality, consistency and appropriate service times.

·Check the freshness and quality of ingredients and ensure food is stored, labelled and rotated correctly.

·Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to coordinate orders and manage busy service periods.

·Maintain clean and organised preparation areas, equipment, utensils and storage spaces.

·Follow food safety, hygiene, allergen and temperature-control procedures.

·Assist with stock monitoring, food deliveries,



portion control and reducing food wastage.

Qualifications & Skills

·Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, Commercial Cookery or a relevant equivalent qualification.

·At least one year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen workplace.

·Sound knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods and kitchen procedures.

·Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.

·Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

·Strong attention to detail and presentation.

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·Reliable, punctual, creative and passionate about food.

·Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays where required.
