About the Role

Working under the guidance of Lead Educators, the successful candidate will support the daily care, learning, development and wellbeing of children.

Key responsibilities include:

· Assisting with the preparation and delivery of engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences.

· Supporting children’s daily routines, development and positive behaviour.

· Building respectful and supportive relationships with children and families.

· Contributing to observations, learning records and program reflections.

· Maintaining a safe, clean, organised and welcoming learning environment.

· Working collaboratively with Lead Educators and other team members.

· Following centre policies, child-safety requirements and relevant regulations.

· Contributing to team meetings and ongoing quality improvement.

About You

The successful applicant must have:





· A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or a higher ACECQA-approved qualification.

· At least 12 months of full time relevant experience, or equivalent part-time experience, in an early childhood education and care setting.

· A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

· A current Victorian Working with Children Check.

· Current First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain them before commencing.

· Knowledge of child-safety and mandatory-reporting responsibilities.

· Solid communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

· Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting children.
