Delhi Nights is a well-established Indian restaurant located in Hoppers Crossing,3029, dedicated to delivering authentic Indian cuisine with exceptional customer service. We take pride in using quality ingredients, traditional cooking techniques, and creating a welcoming dining experience for our customers. We are currently looking for a reliable, passionate, and motivated Cook to join our Hoppers Crossing team on a full-time basis.

Task & responsibilities

1. Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Indian dishes.
2. Ensure consistency in food quality, taste and presentation.
3. Minimize wastage.
4. Manage stock and kitchen supplies.
5. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
6. Support junior kitchen staff.
7. Work closely with the Chef and restaurant management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualification & experience

1. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook in Indian cuisine.
2.



Applicant must have Cert IV in Kitchen Management and Diploma of Hospitality Management.
3. Sound knowledge of traditional Indian cooking methods, spices, and recipes.
4. Strong organisational and time management skills.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
6. Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
7. Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
