About the Role
As the Facilities Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, compliance and overall service delivery of our client’s diverse commercial asset portfolio. You will lead operational planning, maintenance coordination, contractor relationships and facilities delivery that keeps buildings running efficiently and tenants supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day‑to‑day facilities operations for commercial, industrial and retail assets.
- Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling and execution across building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security systems etc.).
- Coordinate and manage relationships with technical contractors and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, building code, essential services and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, cost control and tenant satisfaction.
- Manage emergency responses, capital works coordination and preventative maintenance programs.
We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing facilities (2 years) for commercial property portfolios (office, retail, industrial)
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance protocols
- Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills
- Sound understanding of compliance, WHS and building regulations
- Strategic thinker with hands‑on operational leadership capabilities
